Photography was a pastime handed down from his father. Eisen started clicking away with father's 1965 Nikkormat FS at the age of 2.
By the age of 5 he was given his own camera, a Kodak Colorburst 50, and has been happily snapping away ever since.
While in the states he got his feet wet in developing his own pictures while still in elementary. And continued his ventures behind the camera and in the darkroom while earning his degree in Mass Communication in the Portals of Silliman University.
Moving to Cebu City in 1998 he became friends with the city's premier fashion photographer, Jon Unson, and began assisting Jon in various shoots. It was was also around this time he started dabbling in digital photography
In 2003, through the help of Jon and Cebu artist Ossie Hermossima, Eisen ventured on his first major exhibit along side other photographers in the Habib Nirvana project. It was here he first started working with Jun Escario and was also discovered by Jing Ramos, then editor of Zee magazine. He burst into the commercial photography scene going full digital as one of Cebu City's early adapters to the medium.
He continues learning as much as he can of his trade but is also happy to share his insights in his workshops.
Currently based in Cebu City, Philippines with his wife
Monica Alix and their three daughters.
